I have been making changes to simplify my life. Since making meals seems to be a huge part of my time, I tackled that first. My simplified system is still a huge success for my family. I have actually found time to start using coupons again. Yea for simplicity!
I worked hard to make sure my menu was diverse. I wanted to avoid redundancies each week. I am not sure what happened in week 5, but potatoes have taken over. It made me smile. Obviously, even a “successful” system can use tweaking .
I apologize for not sharing links this week. I plan to continue sharing recipes. Eventually you will have links galore.
This will be my last normal menu plan for the next two weeks. Thanksgiving always switches things up a bit here.
Chili, baked potato, perhaps a salad
Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, carrots
Easy oven chicken, mashed potatoes, peas
Grilled or Baked chicken, skillet or grilled potatoes, green beans
Lasagna, salad
Hamburgers or sloppy joes, baked beans, sweet potatoes
Mom and dad eat out, kids have something “fun”
