Menu Plan for week of 11/6

My new menu system is still going strong.  It has given me time to focus on coupons and store deals more.  Thus, saving me more money.  Of course, I have tried some new recipes.  I couldn’t help myself.  Here is what our week looks like:

image

Sunday lunch:  Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese, salad with homemade “Olive Garden” dressing

Sunday dinner:  fun pickings night

The rest of the week:

Chicken roast, sweet potatoes, alfredo noodles

Chicken noodle soup, homemade rolls/bread

Salmon soup, cheddar biscuits

Beef roast, carrots, baked potato

Pizza

Turkey burgers, homemade fries, veggie tray

Slow cooker Cowboy baked beans, veggie tray

  1. This menu sounds fantastic! I love crockpot meals! The salmon soup sounds amazing!! Unfortunately, we don't get to buy salmon too often.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!!

  3. Thank you for sharing your menu! I wanted to let you know that it's a great week to stock up on packages shredded cheese. Weis has Sargento shredded cheeses on sale for $2 each (regularly $3.79)and there is a Smart Source coupon for 55cents off, which doubles at Weis, taking each one down to less than a dollar if you print multiple coupons.

  4. Betsy I will share the recipe soon. It is REALLY easy. It actually uses canned salmon...which I get at Aldi. I typically don't use too many cans in my recipes, but this is one of those go to meals that it is all ok:)

  5. Stephanie...yes!! Thanks for the heads up!! I have mine printed though I wonder if they will have any left. I am in the process of changing my blog around and I will have a link up to grocery deals. I just don't have the energy to do them myself yet!

  6. Can I just say, I am so glad you are posting more!! I love your short and sweet snippets. That is inspiring to me... like it won't take forever for me to make small changes.
What is fun pickings night? We do a "buffet night" which is actually a glorified way for us to use up things that are in "danger" of deadlines in the fridge...
Had one tonight. The boys love it, because they think it is special. IT really does sound better than "Leftovers"
