This week life becomes crazy again. The spring soccer season officially begins. The simplicity we had with winter sports avoidance was embraceable. However, each week night will now involve forethought and planning. I have seesawed on menu planning the past few weeks. Now I have to get focused.
My goal is to plan meals that you can reheat since we have to eat in shifts. That is the goal. It doesn’t always happen.![]()
Here is what our edible week looks like:
Sunday: homemade stromboli
Monday: Barbequed meatballs, rice, sweet potatoes
Tuesday: Turkey burgers, sweet potato fries, applesauce
Wednesday: Asian noodle soup, salad with shrimp
Thursday: Roast pork, mashed potato(or baked potato), broccoli (I am going to slow cook this roast, but haven’t decided exactly how I am going to make it).
Friday: Hotwing chicken, homemade fries, celery (kids will have nuggets)
Saturday: pizza night
