Just like that, it is time for another menu again. I know I sound like a broken record, but I am so thankful for my somewhat new menu system. It allows me to pretend I am on top of life. I can’t imagine creating my menu during this busy time of year.
We did not get all of our meals made last week. Some of those meals, will roll into this week. This week’s meals will roll into next week. We will be with family a lot over Christmas, so that means less meals to make.
I know we will eat Pizza on “our” Christmas Eve. I state “our” because we will celebrate Christmas the 24th this year. My husband is a nurse and works on Christmas. It has really not been a “big deal” for us, so don’t share a collective “sigh”.
Other than the pizza, I have no idea what we will eat and when. A grocery store trip is imperative since I avoided it last week. We will see when that takes place.
Here is what is on the plan:
Sausage Tortellini Soup, homemade rolls or bread
Spaghetti, salad
Chicken Scampi, salad
Pizza
Coconut Chicken, Dal Nirvana, Sweet potatoes
If you are in auto pilot mode in this last week before Christmas, I recommend just snagging my menu. The meals are pretty simplistic. If you don’t like my selections, visit Menu Monday and snag someone else’s.
There. Now you have one less thing to do this week. What do you think? Are you going to menu plan for this busy week?
