Turkey...enough already

I really want to wrap up my turkey series because quite frankly I am turkeyed out.  I still have one recipe to show you.  However, I haven't tried it yet. It's one of those personal "experiments" which for me is not always successful. Since,I do not want to lead you astray, I am going to wait until I actually eat it before I show it to you.

The reason I still have not made that recipe is because I froze some of my turkey meals. When you are preparing meals to freeze it seems so cumbersome and you question if it is worth your time.  However, when you pull out freezer meals on busy nights, you just want to hug yourself.

In the meantime, here is an easy and yummy recipe to use left over turkey (or chicken). And remember you can also make turkey noodle soup, turkey tetrazzini, turkey tacos and of course start off with your traditional turkey dinner.

If  you haven't gotten started on your turkey binge, here are 2 things to keep in mind.   Remember to plan a good 5 days for your turkey to thaw in the freezer.  The other "tip" would be to plan a day that you can set aside a morning, afternoon or evening to make all of your turkey meals at once.   You can eat them all that week or prepare them and throw in the freezer.

Again, you will hug yourself later.
