Menu Plan for week of 12/25

It is the last menu for the year. Can you believe it? Due to Christmas gatherings, we have not completed our menus for the past 2 weeks. I am pulling out a new menu for this week, though I know this one will not get completed either. We are still have Christmas with family this week. Plus we have New Year’s to celebrate which means more parties and less time to eat our planned meals.

Remember, a menu plan is a guide. It does not dictate your life, but instead eliminates food “what are we going to eat?” emergencies.

Sunday lunch: left over pizza from Christmas eve.

Sunday dinner: nothing of substantial edible influence. Most likely waffles so that I can use my new waffle maker.

The rest of the week:

Slow cooker Chicken roast, sweet potatoes, alfredo noodlesimage

Slow cooker Tortilla soup, homemade rolls/bread

Salmon soup, cheddar biscuits

Slow cooker Beef roast, carrots, baked potato

Turkey burgers, homemade fries, veggie tray

Slow cooker Cowboy baked beans, veggie tray

Oh happy day. Four of my meals are slow cooker made this week. Are you planning any meals this week or are you still eating holiday leftovers or attending family parties?
