Menu plan week of April 4th

Last week's slow cooking week spoiled me. It was so nice to have dinner ready each night at 6 o' clock. It did inspire me to continue trying new slow cooker recipes. I also need to add it into my weekly menu more often. As promised, there will be more slow cooking recipes to come here at the Frugal Flamingo.

So of course, I am not slow cooking at all this week. Yes, I say that with and edge of sarcasm. My freezers are full. Again. I need to work at using some of the stuff in them.

This week's menu looks sort of boring. However, all will be fed and happy so it's all good.

Monday: Turkey burgers, brocoli, applesauce, salsa & chips

Tuesday: Tacos, corn (it is Sparkles birthday. This was her meal "pick")

Wednesday: Asian noodle soup (this is now my husband's favorite) and salad with shrimp

Thursday: Pork loin, salad or other veggie, mashed potatoes (Yea! I can slow cook this!)

Friday: Hot wing chicken (hubby and I), Chicken nuggets (kids), celery, homemade fries, applesauce, salad

Saturday: lunch: Sausage sandwiches (another slow cooker possibility) I am not sure what else we will have with this. It's another busy soccer day.

Saturday: dinner: homemade pizza with friends
