I will be honest. I wrote and brainstormed for this blog with enthusiasm before the holidays. Now? Now I am in a post holiday slump. Actually, I typically get slumped in meal planning and frugal grocery spending during the holiday season and especially when it is all over.
However, it is a New Year. It is a time for new attitudes and new goals. My goals are to pull myself out of the slump and to share tidbits with you. Perhaps your goal is to lower your grocery budget or to get out of the slump with me.So now what? First, let's take a deep breath. Let's forget if we overspent
Next, let's be honest. It's easy to be overwhelmed. In 2006, when I first got into this "grocery game", I would stare at my grocery list and think, "How?! How am I going to do this for less?”
Perhaps you are in that place right now. You feel slightly excited, but mostly overwhelmed. If truth be told, you have NO idea where to start.
Do not panic! I fully believe that anyone can lower their grocery bill. It will take patience and a willingness to learn. However, you can do it!
Perhaps you have already made some changes, but want to take it one step further. You want to lower your grocery bill even more.
Tomorrow I will share with you the number one place to start. Hands down, it is the most effective 1st step to take. Join me tomorrow as we discuss the ever so lovely topic of Menu Planning.
